Velasquez Park, Valero St.,
Salcedo Village, Makati City

Art in the Park, the event eagerly anticipated by art lovers, enthusiasts and collectors is back. On March 14, Saturday, galleries, independent art spaces, and art groups from all over Metro Manila will come together allowing market goers and art aficionados to take a peek into what is happening in Manila's very active art scene. With prices of paintings, photographs, sculpture and fine art prints pegged at a maximum of P20,000, Art in the Park is a treat for both experienced collectors and first time art buyers.

The art experience continues into the evening with Art After Dark. Seven curated art spaces will rise up where the gallery booths were in the day. Avellana Art Gallery, Tutok, Putik, Silverlens Gallery, Art Cabinet Philippines, Bea Camacho and Joel Alonday each creating site specific displays and installations that visitors can walk in to, interact with, and enjoy. Children's book illustrators, Ang Illustrador ng Kabataan and Sheer Joy team up to create a space specially for our young guests. Although there will be no price restrictions, the pieces on sale, like those in Art in the Park are guaranteed to be beautifully provocative, one-of-a-kind, and well worth the investment.

Proceeds will go towards supporting the projects of the Museum Foundation of the Philippines and the National Museum. For more information, e-mail info@museumfoundati onph.org.
