JOHN SILVA's articles, essays, and short stories, have appeared in Arts of Asia, Filipinas Magazine, Philippine News, Mabuhay Magazine, Philippine Inquirer, and Philippine StarWeek Magazine. He graduated with an MA in Philippine-American History from Goddard in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is currently a Senior Consultant at the National Museum of the Philippines and is a Board Member of the Heritage Conservation Society, Ballet Philippines, Mangyan Heritage Society, Filipinas Magazines and the Synergeia Foundation. John Silva owns arguably the largest collection of vintage Philippine photographs.
